The world changes at a rapid pace where at a glance cutting edge noval technologies, trends,  mechanisms and theories taken place and replaces the old ones. So as companies needed to keep an alert on their greatest asset of human resource in order to keep their competencies intact and climb the corporate ladder. Following are highlights of some latest trends.

Globalization and its implications
Since most of the nations encourage globalization in order to share limited resources, there are lots of multinational companies encourage the idea of global village. Therefore human resource departments needed to ensure that their work force is intact with latest skill levels and cultural adaptability to operate with diversity of work force and  handle global assignments. 
Examples for companies with diversity of work forces; Sodexo, Johnson & Johnson, Master Card, Accenture, Kaiser Permanente, EY, Disney, etc.

Corporate Downsizing
Since the higher level of uncertainty elaborate with business climate, companies attempt to delayer with greater efficiency at times of economic down turns. Therefore human resource departments put emphasis on recruiting multitasking employees and encourage cross training for a smoother running of the operations.
Examples for companies with multitasking work forces; Tata Motors, Mahindra, Maruti, Wipro Technologies, Infosys etc.

Re-engineering work processes for improved productivity
For re-engineering to generate its benefits, human resource management needed to offer quality skill development programs to its employees. Whether its a new process or a technology enhancement employees would need new set of skills. 
Examples for companies using re-engineering technique; Ford Motors, Bank of India, Mahindra, etc.

Digital transformation
By accepting the idea to use digital technology, companies are changing the way of doing businesses. Digital HR tools enable HR employees to carry on their tasks even when they are on the move.
Ex. Internal social networks, Gamification tools, E-learning platforms, Payroll management platforms, Advanced electronic signature solutions, etc.

Conclusion
While no one can predict for sure what HR trends will deliver in the near future, studies pointed towards digital transformation, re-engineering work processes,  multitasking & employee experience. In order to stay ahead of the game executives should impel preparing their organizations soon as possible.

Globalisation implications you put a lot of corporate as examples and didn't include in text citation therefore it doesn't have credibility. They delayer to become lean and mean also to manage cost and profitability .
