Changing Trends in HRM in Global Perspective

In the future context organizations will have a distinct challenge of retaining their key employees and improve their level of competencies in line with fast paced business atmosphere to keep ahead of the game.

Following are the future challenges could be expect by HR Managers.

Technology
In the future context cutting edge noval technologies will replaces the oldish with no time and most of them will be crucial for companies to adopt in order to keep their competencies ahead of competitors.

M- Commerce, S- Commerce and E- Commerce will impose new challenges to HR managers, internal and external communication via social network and office automation's will make a significant impact.

Employee Diversity
Since majority of countries lift up their boarders to encourage globalization, there will be a rapid increase in work place diversity. Therefore HR mangers will have a urge to develop skill levels of employees, from international languages ability to cutting edge technology to establish a friendly but a high performance work practices [HPWP's]

Changing role of HRM
In future HR managers will have to act as an intermediary with employees and their front line managers to better utilize and develop skill sets of employees, since front line managers have useful ground level experience with their staffs.

Therefore there will be an organizational cultural change within giants and line mangers will be more in to L&D and coaching their immediate staffs. On the other side HR mangers will be busy with more analytical and integration work. 

Empowering Workforce
Since HR managers will have an urge to establish high performance work practices [HPWP's] to compete in a highly competitive trade atmosphere, in future there will be more in to employees who are highly knowledgeable and with cutting edge skills sets.

Therefore organisations to retain such work force will have to encourage flatter organisation models where empower employees and given them more responsibilities  in a decentralized environment. Further more will have to adopt family friendly office environments and benefits and reward systems to meet expectations of new generation.

Conclusion
In the future context there will be more opportunities for employees in the local and foreign markets. Therefore HR managers will have a hug challenge to retain key players of organisations. Thus managers should reconsider the ‘3 C Model’ [collaboration, coordination and communication]
